Big Love: Season 1
Think having three wives is a dream come true? Think again. HBO presents the new contemporary drama series that tells the story of Bill Henrickson (Bill Paxton), a practicing polygamist who lives in suburban Salt Lake City with his three wives and seven children. An independent businessman who runs a growing chain of hardware stores, Bill faces a myriad of challenges in meeting the emotional, romantic and financial needs of his wives – Barb (Jeanne Tripplehorn), Nicki (Chloe Sevigny) and Margene (Ginnifer Goodwin) – while dealing with their kids, three adjoined houses, an ever-mounting avalanche of bills, and the opening of his newest hardware store. Complicating matters are a series of crises affecting his parents, Frank and Lois (Bruce Dern and Grace Zabriskie), who live on a polygamist compound in rural Utah, as well as an unexpected business challenge from Roman (Harry Dean Stanton), one of his fathers-in-law and the “Prophet” of the polygamist commune where his parents live.

Big Love: Season 2
Season Two of the critically acclaimed, Emmy-and Golden Globe-nominated Big Love finds the modern-day polygamist Bill Henrickson (Bill Paxton) and his three wives struggling to pick up the pieces after first wife Barb’s (Jeanne Tripplehorn) outing at the Beehive Mother of the Year Ceremony. Second wife Nicki (Chloe Sevigny), learning that it was her father, Roman Grant (Harry Dean Stanton), Prophet of the Fundamentalist Juniper Creek compound, who betrayed them, battles conflicting family loyalties. And third wife Margene (Ginnifer Goodwin), newly pregnant, fights for a bigger piece of the family pie with an eye toward brining a new wife and confidant into the fold. All of this domestic drama plays out against the backdrop of Bill’s new visionary business plans – which put him into direct conflict with his father-in-law and some rather unexpected and unsavory antagonists. As if juggling three wives wasn’t tricky enough, it looks like Bill won’t be getting much sleep in any of his houses this year.

Big Love: Season 3
Passion. Jealousy. Treachery. Greed. Everyone has something to hide in the biggest, boldest season yet of this provocative hit series! Bill Henrickson (Bill Paxton) returns as the enterprising, suburban polygamist who has more than his hands full, with three wives (Jeanne Tripplehorn, Chloe Sevigny, Ginnifer Goodwin), a potential fourth, a growing brood of eight children, and a struggling gaming business meant to safeguard his family should they be “outed” and his Home Plus superstores left vulnerable. Bill’s imprisoned father-in-law the “Prophet” Roman Grant (Harry Dean Stanton) plots against him; Roman’s twisted son Alby asserts his own lust for power; and Bill’s parents, Lois and Frank, continue their murderous feud. And then there’s the intensifying, nationwide crackdown on polygamy! Who knew so much drama could be packed into one season. Keep up with the Henrickson’s – and their secrets – in all ten of these funny, moving and scandalously entertaining episodes.
